THE PRESS DEMOCRAT - The extended pop-up is part of the Turntable Takeover that brings renowned chefs from around the country to the Bay Area. Ki Kim’s restaurant Kinn in LA’s Koreatown was a critical darling until he closed it late last year citing the toll fine dining was taking on his mental health. Now, Kim is the chef de cuisine of Meteora in LA, which was awarded a Michelin star, and he’s heading to The Lazeway Club at The Flamingo resort. The extended pop-up (aka chef residency) runs Oct. 4-30 and is part of the Turntable Takeover that brings renowned chefs from around the country to the Bay Area.
